Well looks like the little nut job in Iran wants to show he’s a badass in the sandbox. He’s now popping off missiles to show everyone that he can hit Israel and other countries. They also are doing these “war games” in the strait of Hormuz, where about 40% of all the worlds’ oil passes thru. They’re trying to prove a point. I believe the point is, once we leave they are going to be in charge in that area. How does that make you feel? If you dont like $4.00+ a gallon wait until they can shut off that strait whenever they want. Talk about having us by the short and curlies… Doing that will also control the other countries in the area by controling their output.
We’ll end up fighting them before it’s all over. Either that or paying 10.00+ a gallon for gas.

Im not real impressed or worried on this one. They might as well be flexing in the mirror. Let them play, its not like we are in a position to move on them at the moment. Pulling troops from Afghanistan or Iraq would be a bad decision, and we are kinda running low on moral support.
I say we let the Israelis handle this one….WINK

First I hope we dont leave the area for a long time. We need to be there just to be able to kind of keep tabs on things. The Israelis can probably handle them but Iran produces so much damn oil that if their supply lines are disrupted that’s going to make the price jump. If they can in some way disrupt the oil supply out thru the strait of Hormuz that’s only going to make it that much worse. I doubt seriously that they’ll be able to close it off, after all our Navy is right there. Doesnt mean we wont have problems though.
Hopefully is it much ado about nothing. If we drilled OUR OWN DAMN OIL we wouldnt have to worry about this!!!
