Thanks for stopping by!

I also couldn’t vote for Obama myself. It's not his nod yet but it's certainly looking that way as of today. I still think Clinton might have some dirty trick up her sleeve that she'll pull when she thinks all hope is lost. They're already floating the Black/white thing in Penn. Anyway, I couldn’t vote for Obama. If Clinton gets the nod I don’t know that I could vote for her either but I don’t see any real difference between her and McCain. Voting for McCain will weaken the Republican party because it will water it down so much. When the Republicans offer up a person that is virtually the same as a Clinton we're in a sad state of affairs. You mention a return to the Carter years, I don’t really see any of the current crop of candidates keeping us from there, minus Huck and he's not a realistic option. He's got issues too.

It's frustrating that's for sure but I do believe that our political system can withstand this bombardment of mediocrity. We'll just have to elect enough congressmen and senators to counteract whoever gets in the White House.

I'm not thrilled over McCain either by any means, but there's no way I won't end up voting for him. The thought of an Obama or Clinton presidency is a lot scarier to me. I don't want to even think about the amount of damage either of them could inflict in four years. I understand the frustration with McCain, I'm as angry as the next person over his amnesty bill, etc. but I can't just sit home and watch the country be handed over to Barack Obama, who votes to the left of Ted Kennedy. I'm afraid that is what will happen though, thanks to the record turnout of welfare mothers and college kids. We're in for a repeat of the Carter years, only this time it will be worse.
